Backup, restoration and manipulation of information stored in music tags.

If you collect a large quantity of music in your PC, and like to know all the details, then surely you spend a lot of time editing their tags (the ID where all the information is stored). However this can be a bit boring and laborious.

Tag Backup & Restore is a specially designed tool for these users, and works to make a backup and later restore the ID tags from three different types of file. Once the copies are filed, the user has total control over what can be restored: just one field of the tag, a whole tag or a library of various tags. Tag Backup & Restore also includes two very practical utilities: a tag editor and a file renamer.

Tag Backup & Restore lets you store or save the backup in three different formats:

* MS Access 2000 database file (.mdb), that stores both text fields and binary.

* MS Excel worksheet (.xls): just stores text fields.

* Delimited text file (.csr): just for text fields, but without limit of size or number of fields.

And when you don´t need to store or restore information Tag Backup & Restore works as a tag editor with all types of options: search, replace, printing, multiple formats, etc. You can transfer information from tag to tag, and manipulate the data as you want: view, extract, reorder, delete, etc.
